For a long time, my mantra was– I am love. I am light. I am one.
It was beautiful. It carried me through. It reminded me of the radiance I hold, the truth of our unity. But after a while, something felt incomplete. It was as if I was only chanting one side of the story.
Recently, the mantra changed. It became– I am love. I am light and the dark night. I am one.
This shift—small in words but vast in meaning—has opened a new doorway.
To acknowledge the dark night within me, within the cosmos, within all things, is to step into the threshold. It is to recognize that oneness is not only made of radiance but also of shadow. Not only of clarity but also of mystery, of the unknown.
To include the dark night is to accept myself fully. To stand in the liminal, where death and birth, shadow and light, spirit and matter all meet.
This is the foundation of my spiritual practice now
✨ To embody love.
✨ To shine light.
✨ To honor the dark night.
✨ To remember that all of it is one.
What words carry you through right now?
In love, light + the dark night,
Dana 🖤
